Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a skilled Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of OSP processes and possess the necessary skills to manage various projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments and scoping of OSP projects.
2. Exhibit strong customer service, vendor relations, and project management capabilities.
3. Communicate proficiently through various channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
4. Design, provision, and document outside plant fiber optic installations, including underground, aerial, and buried systems.
5. Demonstrate knowledge of manhole and conduit design principles.
6. Interpret and analyze work prints from drafting software such as AutoCAD and ARAMIS.

Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to take detailed field notes adhering to OSP design principles, with the capability to convert these notes into KMZ files being advantageous.
• Familiarity with Google Earth is a plus.
• Understanding of pole loading and right-of-way permit requirements.
• Knowledge of FTTx and AT&T GPON design is beneficial.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment:
Flexibility for occasional business travel is required, along with the ability to adapt to a schedule that may include infrequent weekend work. The candidate should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organized timelines and tracking work expectations.
