Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop computer system solutions to solve complex problems and systems related to the power generation business.
  • Apply appropriate software quality assurance principles for configuration management system software.
  • Develop computer and information system plans that capitalize on the current installed technology base and prudently employ new technology where appropriate.
  • Provide customer support and services for problem reporting, and service requests and inquiries.
  • Develop and provide training to end users on assigned systems.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with applying security controls to assets at a generation site.
  • Experience with the operation or engineering of a generation unit.
  • Experience with control systems security, security architecture, network security engineering or secure network development experience with electric power utilities.
  • Experience with PI, OPC & Modbus Interfaces.
  • Experience in implementing security control policy and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the operation of the electric power and/or generation systems.
  • Knowledge of system hardening, patch management, and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of security controls testing, security audits, and security assessments.
  • Knowledge of fraud and computer forensics.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NIST controls.
