Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to design, model, and implement data warehousing solutions with a focus on SAP Financials (FI/CO). The role involves programming and configuring data warehouses while providing essential support to users.
The ideal candidate will offer technical expertise in evaluating existing SAP environments (hardware and software) to pinpoint necessary architectural modifications that will enhance support for OpenText Extended Content Management (xECM) and SAP Information Lifecycle Management.
This position requires providing leadership on significant tasks or technology assignments. You will establish objectives and plans that align with project goals, utilizing your expert technical knowledge. You will be responsible for directing activities for clients, overseeing financial management, methodologies, and staffing to ensure that technical specifications are fulfilled. Your interactions will include negotiations with clients and collaboration with senior management, where your decision-making and domain expertise will significantly influence project execution. Supervisory responsibilities may also be included.
Contribute to architectural evaluations to determine detailed specifications for server, storage, and networking needs, as well as database and application/transaction volume sizing for both current and future requirements.
Integrate archiving processes and an Information Lifecycle Management routine into ongoing business operations.
Experience Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of SAP ABAP experience in a large-scale or enterprise environment is essential.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Certifications: None required. Travel Expectations: Minimal travel required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven expertise in ABAP (Release 7.x) across the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and debugging.
Experience collaborating within an integrated software development team.
Familiarity with OpenText ECM (xECM) is a plus.
Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a Position of Public Trust.
The level of contract risk will dictate the type and scope of processing required.
Moderate Risk IT-Background Investigation (BI) and Moderate Risk IT-Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) may apply.
