Key Responsibilities- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety of all patrons, visitors, and employees at our locations.
- Maintenance and Improvements: Oversee the maintenance and improvements of all Everstory properties, including buildings, fixtures, equipment, and operations.
- Team Management: Manage a team of maintenance employees, providing support and training as needed.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce all company policies and procedures, coaching subordinates as necessary.
- Collaboration: Meet and work with location sales and administration teams to recognize and discuss current and future needs of each location.
- Landscape Maintenance: Perform all landscape maintenance duties, including weed-whacking, lawn mowing, and other tasks.
- General Maintenance: Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties, including operating machinery and equipment.
- Cemetery Operations: Install or assist in installing cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials as needed.
- Education: High school equivalency required.
- Experience: 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience and 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
- Cemetery Experience: Cemetery work experience is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
- Operational Skills: Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery, including backhoe and mowing/trimming equipment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- License: Must have a valid state driver's license.
