Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Monument Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work in a Level II trauma hospital setting, performing and interpreting radiology exams under the direction of a Radiologist. You will be responsible for acquiring and processing high-quality images, working with patients of all ages, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and interpret radiology exams, including fluoroscopy and portable exams
- Work with patients of all ages, including pediatric, geriatric, and critical care patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
- Operate radiological equipment, including fluoroscopy and c-arm systems
- Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Radiology Program
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- 1+ years of experience as a Radiographer
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
As a Radiologic Technologist at Monument Health, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be exposed to radiation and may be required to work with contaminated needles and infectious body substances. You will also be required to work designated shift lengths, including night shifts and occasional irregular hours.
