Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident. The RN will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate resident needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing wound care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
