Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Caregiver Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide supported living services to individuals with developmental disabilities and sometimes co-occurring mental health diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Assist individuals with community activities, doctor appointments, and shopping trips, while teaching them socially acceptable ways to interact in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans that promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, while promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
