About the Role

Are you looking for a chance to work at the forefront of technological advancements? Join a committed team that facilitates new technology and ensures process integration in a pre-production setting.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will collaborate with a team to provide development assistance for onsite installations and process integration of photolithography semiconductor equipment, primarily in the Oregon region.

Training opportunities may be available in various locations for a duration of 1-3 months.

This role necessitates full-time presence at your designated office(s)/worksite(s)/territory.

Your Impact

Engage in teamwork as well as independently support Canon equipment process qualification, process enhancement initiatives, and integration projects with clients.

Play a pivotal role in establishing a new wafer fabrication process technology for semiconductor device manufacturing.

Design and execute tests, analyze results, summarize findings, and present data and conclusions effectively.

Collaborate with specialists from diverse teams to enhance the manufacturing process.

Conduct thorough evaluations on new hardware and software.

Identify challenges and collaborate with the Canon team for resolution.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

Interact with clients with minimal supervision.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

Please note: this is a client-facing position and requires adherence to customer policies and protocols, which may include health-related measures.

A PhD degree is preferred, accompanied by 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience or knowledge in optics, lasers, software, robotics, precision mechanics, or chemicals is essential.

Familiarity with the Linux operating system is preferred for system operation and troubleshooting.

Hands-on mechanical skills are advantageous.

Experience with electronic testing tools is required.

Able to work independently on equipment while also being a collaborative team player in challenging situations.

Excellent troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary.

Customer support experience is beneficial.

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours is essential.

Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment for extended periods.

Domestic travel may be required, necessitating a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

This position demands continuous physical effort, including standing, walking, sitting, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Lifting over 25 pounds requires assistance. Employees may need to work at a computer for prolonged periods and must be able to hear and understand speech at normal levels.

Compliance with safety regulations and knowledge of Haz/Com regulations is required.

Domestic and international travel may be necessary.

In accordance with applicable law, the anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $104,870 to $157,050.
