Technical Sales Associate Leadership Development Program

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking highly motivated and driven individuals to participate in our Technical Sales Associate Leadership Development Program. This 1-year training program is designed to develop the next generation of sales leaders within our organization.
Program StructureThe program consists of multiple rotations at different Parker locations, with each rotation lasting between 1 to 5 months. During this time, participants will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of our business, including product training, sales techniques, and leadership development.
Responsibilities- Attend product training schools to learn about technical aspects of products and applications
- Develop professional selling skills to find ways to add value to customers, distributors, and Parker
- Collaborate with a network of distributors, customers, and Parker divisions to build relationships and drive sales
- Utilize CRM to track opportunities, interpret sales data, and make good business decisions
- Communicate business activities and cases effectively with timely reports
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sales, or industrial distribution
- Ability to relocate domestically to assigned field/territory after the program
- Overnight travel greater than 50-75% for the first 12 months
- Technical competence and mechanical aptitude
- Work experience in sales or marketing is a plus
