At Springfield Treatment Center, we are seeking a Certified Recovery Mentor to provide compassionate care to our clients. This role can be full or part time, and we offer a flexible and rewarding environment where you are encouraged to express your ideas and recommend improvements.

As a Certified Recovery Mentor, you will work with clients in stages of recovery to cultivate their ability to make informed, independent choices, and assist them in gaining information and support from the community. You will also provide support to clients that counselors are not able to offer, such as telephonic support, case management, and meeting clients at community support/12-step meetings.

We are committed to providing excellent, affordable treatment to all people, and we have a time-tested treatment model that has proven to effectively meet this objective. Our goal is to partner with each individual we serve to accomplish a personalized treatment program that leads them to live a healthy, productive, addiction-free life.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Attend groups with a primary counselor to serve as a positive role model and reinforce suggestions and advice based on your personal experience.
  • Provide support to clients that counselors are not able to offer, such as telephonic support, case management, and meeting clients at community support/12-step meetings.
  • Work with clients in stages of recovery to cultivate their ability to make informed, independent choices, and assist them in gaining information and support from the community.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Certified as a Recovery Mentor issued by the state licensing body and ensure you complete the required continuing education to maintain your licensure.
  • Meet state requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • We follow federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.
  • Current driver's license.
