Transformative Leadership Opportunity

Enthusiast Auto Holdings is seeking a visionary Director of Software Development to spearhead the transformation of our IT function and drive the success of our eCommerce business.

This strategic role requires a seasoned leader with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and influence executive teams.

The successful candidate will create a compelling vision and strategic direction for unifying our disparate businesses and web stores into a unified architecture, driving significant transformational projects, and removing technical debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for transitioning to new technical stacks.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of a centralized software development team and COE.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure effective sustainability, maintenance, and enhancement of our eCommerce web stores and warehouse fulfillment operations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation.
  • Evaluate and improve software development processes, methodologies, testing, and deployment.
  • Track progress and implement continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior software development role, with a track record of managing and leading development teams.
  • Solid experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Oracle NetSuite and Adobe Commerce.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
