Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho. As a key member of our cardiovascular catheterization laboratory, you will be responsible for operating radiographic fluoroscopic equipment and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic fluoroscopic equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Assist physicians, technologists, and nurses to maintain a customer-friendly environment in the laboratory
  • Participate in call rotation and adhere to variable shift scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain a positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Cardiovascular technologist (CVT) certification
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
  • BLS certification on first day of employment
  • ACLS certification within 3 months of hire
  • At least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory
  • At least 1 year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving
Preferred Qualifications
  • X-ray proficiency
  • Monitoring proficiency
  • Scrubbing proficiency
