Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation to produce images of the internal structures of the body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer ionizing radiation to produce images of the internal structures of the body
- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- 1+ year of experience in radiologic technology
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Stand for long periods and lift patients as needed
- Work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
