Fort Bend County is a rapidly growing community that values diversity and inclusivity. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with youth and will be responsible for developing a student volunteer base to support the Expose Excellence Youth Program (EEYP). This will involve implementing programming for the EEYP, interacting with school districts, higher education, service organizations, community churches, and law enforcement agencies for community support of the EEYP.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring youth in the EEYP, establishing and maintaining communication with youth participants and volunteers, and soliciting and recording feedback on programming and inclusion of participants.

Additionally, the candidate will assist the EEYP Community Outreach Manager with a social media presence and marketing of the EEYP, recruit, screen, and evaluate participants, and participate in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, college hours preferred, and 1 year work experience, preferably working with youth. Evening and weekend work is necessary.
