Job Description:
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of guest corridors, lobbies, staircases, and public vending areas. This role assists Room Attendants in upholding high standards of quality and hygiene.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Service orientation and knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to convey information and ideas effectively.
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions regarding cleaning chemicals.
Capability to utilize chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently.
Availability during weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.
Bonus Incentives:
Signing Bonus: $200.00 after 60 days of employment.
Referral Bonus: $150.00 after 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Empty soiled linen and trash from room attendant carts.
2. Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, staircases, vending areas, and lobbies.
3. Remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
4. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
5. Gather amenities and supplies for room attendants.
6. Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
7. Flip mattresses and relocate furniture as directed by the Supervisor.
8. Assist Room Attendants with the removal of trash and linen from guest rooms during peak occupancy turnover.
9. Support Shampooers with furniture relocation.
10. Address guest inquiries.
11. Provide assistance, directions, and information to guests as requested.
12. Report any suspicious individuals or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to the Safety/Security Department.
13. Offer guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
