Program Overview

Hartford Healthcare's Ayer Neuroscience Institute is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuro Ophthalmologist to join our team in the Hartford, CT area. As a member of our Neurology and Neurosurgery department, you will provide outstanding clinical care in an ambulatory setting and collaborate with our neurology and neurosurgical teams on clinical, academic, and administrative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting
  • Collaborate with neurology and neurosurgical teams on clinical, academic, and administrative projects
  • Participate in our Neurology and Neurosurgery residency programs
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with referring physicians and other collaborators

Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology or Neurology
  • Completion of an AUPO-FCC compliant fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology or demonstrated comparable clinical experience and expertise
  • Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
  • Ability to respectfully collaborate and build relationships with a diverse set of colleagues
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment, challenging the status quo and striving to innovate and improve care delivery
