Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant

Service Direct Landscape, LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for handling essential tasks in the recruitment of hourly positions, including receiving and reviewing applications, contacting applicants, and scheduling interviews and/or onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all administrative components of the hourly position recruitment process, including receiving and reviewing applications, receiving hiring requests from department managers, contacting applicants, and scheduling interviews and/or onboarding.
  • Ensure that all necessary employment checks, including I-9 and E-verify, and eligibility for rehire if being rehired.
  • Administer the process for new employees, including inputting employee information into Sage 100, Exaktime, Raken, and Paychex programs, submitting MVR requests for drivers, and issuing initial PPE per department requirements.
  • Communicate onboarding details and schedule with department managers.
  • Carry out general HR administration tasks, including creating new employee files, updating existing employee files and database details, tracking employee PTO eligibility details, and updating terminations.
  • Ensure electronic and paper-based staff files are maintained, and filing/archiving is completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the HR and Payroll team in developing and implementing new projects.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience, with HR specific experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to type and operate standard office equipment on a daily basis.
  • Observant, analytical, inquisitive, and attentive.
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have a professional demeanor while handling HR functions.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, and allocate workload for optimum efficiency.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication.
