At University Partners, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, prospects, and visitors, while effectively leasing apartments and promoting our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer service and support to residents, prospects, and visitors.
- Effectively lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals and community standards.
- Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents.
- Conduct outside marketing activities under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager.
- Review and process lease applications, including credit and income verifications and background checks.
- Complete lease paperwork and files for each resident, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection.
- Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms, promoting the annual renewal campaign and managing lease renewals.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming leasing office and community.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge in Entrata preferred.
- Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Able to work weekends or overtime as job requires.
This role requires working in an office environment, with occasional outdoor activities. The physical demands of this role include walking, sitting, standing, climbing or balancing, lifting under 10 lbs, reaching with hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
