We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cannabis Production Specialist to join our team at Schwazze. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality cannabis products are produced while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cannabis raw material biomass for extraction by grinding to a uniform size.
Operate automated equipment systems to extract cannabinoids from raw material, recover extraction solvent, decarboxylate winterized cannabis oil, and distill decarboxylated cannabis oil into bulk distillate.
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly routine cleaning of all equipment and perform preventative maintenance for all equipment used in the production of bulk cannabis distillate.
Assist with troubleshooting production process issues and maintain accurate records of production activities.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Proven ability to work with little to no supervision and follow directions precisely.
Must be mechanically inclined with an aptitude for operating complex machinery.
Ability to lift a 50-pound load and carry it for 50 feet repeatedly.
Willingness to perform additional duties as necessary to maintain a compliant, clean, safe, and inviting environment for team members and customers.
Working Conditions:
This position is held within a highly compliant and secured regulated, licensed cannabis manufacturing facility. Schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of Colorado is required.
