The Patient Care Attendant at Excela Health plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure and nurturing atmosphere for individuals requiring oversight, companionship, and engagement. This position involves assisting with a variety of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities to guarantee high-quality service delivery within Excela Health facilities.
Primary Duties
- Offer continuous monitoring and companionship to individuals.
- Ensure a secure environment to avert accidents or injuries.
- Support daily activities including personal hygiene, hydration, and mobility assistance.
- Escort individuals to various locations within the healthcare facility.
- Distribute supplies and provide support to families and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Prior experience in healthcare or patient support is preferred.
Licensing & Background Checks
- Clearances including Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI are mandatory.
Work Environment Overview
