We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI). As a Seasonal Radiology CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Operate C.T. and X-ray equipment, develop film, and prepare patients' rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Provide patient services using imaging modalities and practice proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
- Assist radiologists in biopsies, abscess drainage, and contrast administration, and administer intravenous contrast media to patients.
- Coordinate C.T. patient flow to maximize patient comfort and establish priorities and goals, effectively assess situations, weigh alternatives, and make decisions consistent with the job.
- Participate in staff meetings and educational activities, and demonstrate flexibility in staffing and scheduling requirements to meet the needs of the department and the hospital.
- High School Diploma / GED
- Specific Training in CT
- At least One (1) year of experience, including Advanced Training
- Graduate of an AMA–approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License
- Current BLS Certification
Please note that this is a seasonal position, and the selected candidate will be required to participate in Departmental Call Rotation.
