Drilling Rig Installation Expert

Geolog, a leading provider of services in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Drilling Rig Installation Expert to join its team in North America. This key role involves ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of Geolog's mobile laboratory on drilling rigs, both onshore and offshore.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and instrumentation, with at least 2 years' experience as a technician. They will be responsible for:
- Installation and Maintenance: To install, test, and maintain mobile laboratory equipment, performing repairs and refurbishments as necessary.
- Field Support: To provide regular assistance to field operations, train crew members on equipment maintenance, and undertake equipment installations on drilling rigs when required.
- Inventory Management: To manage inventory levels of spares and consumables, monitor stock levels, and maintain accurate records.
- Documentation: To ensure that technical and health & safety documentation is up-to-date within the mobile laboratories.
- Reporting: To prepare and submit monthly reports to the operations teams.

**Estimated Annual Salary:** $75,000 - $90,000 (dependent on experience)
**Key Requirements:**
- Associates Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation
- Minimum 2 years' prior experience as a technician
- Familiarity with Windows-based software and hardware
- Able to pass a medical exam for working in the oil and gas offshore industry
- Valid US Driving License
- Ability to travel to remote work sites within the district and/or other areas
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Highly organized with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
