Job Summary

As a Rail Engineer II at RailPros, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of rail infrastructure. Your experience and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our rail projects, from concept through construction. You will work with clients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality rail solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for rail infrastructure and other related components.
  • Apply your knowledge of rail design principles to solve complex engineering challenges, including track alignment, drainage, utilities, at-grade crossings, and earthwork design using Microstation and InRail software.
  • Collaborate with rail engineers across the country to provide technical support in the development of rail projects, ensuring design meets quality and client standards.
  • Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects.
  • Work closely with multi-discipline teams, including engineers and project managers to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with design requirements.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation, InRail) is required.
  • OpenRail experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of rail industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a national team environment.
