Service Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Kia of Lincolnwood. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.

• Oversee service orders and flow of the Drive Lane to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Take ownership of customer inquiries, whether phone or in-person, to provide exceptional support.
• Ensure daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently to maximize productivity.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary.
• Oversee administration of warranty claims and training of service department employees.
• Set schedules and assign tasks to service department employees.
• Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
• Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
• Collaborate with upper management to make service department hiring and discipline decisions.

• Must be a top performer willing to go above and beyond for customers.
• Outstanding sales and follow-through skills.
• At least 1 year of experience in automobile service write-ups.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.
• Self-motivated, organized, and driven to succeed.
• Valid driver's license required.
