The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of FAA regulations, ISO 9001 standards, and best practices for quality control in an aerospace manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system that encompasses all aspects of our production process.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Quality Control Department, including receiving inspections, final inspections, and material review board (MRB) meetings.
  • Develop and implement quality control policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead audits, both internal and external, to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Manage a team of quality control professionals and provide guidance and support to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in quality management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or similar role in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, ISO 9001 standards, and other relevant industry guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
