At Sedona Staffing TX, we are seeking a skilled Production/Construction Worker to join our team in the Killeen area.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an experienced worker who can construct, assemble, and install wood and metal fixtures using basic hand and power tools.
  • The successful candidate will study blueprints and drawings to determine the dimensions of the material to be produced.
  • They will measure materials or distances, using a square, measuring tape, or ruler to lay out work.
  • Cutting boards, timbers, or plywood to the required size using a handsaw, power saw, or woodworking machine is also a key responsibility.
  • Our ideal candidate will anchor and brace forms and other structures in place, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges, and timbers.
  • Assembling and fastening material together to install floor decking and walls is a critical aspect of this role.
  • The selected candidate must follow and implement safety and quality control protocols.

This position requires repetitive lifting of more than 50 pounds, bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long hours. The ability to use hands and arms repetitively in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials is essential.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months experience and a High school Diploma or GED are required.
  • Knowledge of carpentry skills such as framing, drywall, siding, etc., is a plus. Knowledge of flooring and door installation is also beneficial.
  • The ability to communicate in English is a must.
  • Strong math and tape measure skills are required.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision is also essential.
