Mig Welder Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team at Sedona Staffing TX in Killeen, TX. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components using hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment. With a strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others, you will ensure high-quality products meet customer specifications.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in welding and fabrication, with basic shop math skills and tape measure skills. You should also be proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols. We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Operate hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies using various measuring tools
• Assemble metal parts and products
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with measure tools and templates
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in welding and fabrication
• Basic shop math skills and tape measure skills
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others
