Job Summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial forecast process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to integrate future strategies, project proposals, and business plans into the annual budget and rolling forecast.
  • Industry Benchmarking: Coordinate industry benchmarking initiatives and establish benchmarks to drive performance improvement.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Design and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting processes to support executive decision-making.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify and maintain a suite of key performance indicators to track business performance and drive improvement.
  • Scenario Analysis: Develop scenario analysis processes to enhance strategic planning and support business decision-making.
  • Business Case Evaluation: Engage with business case sponsors to test assumptions and evaluate business cases.
  • Financial Performance Reviews: Lead financial performance reviews with regional and community level leadership to drive business improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve and maintain financial planning and analysis processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Financial Acumen: Contribute to the development of strong financial acumen across the company through financial mentoring and training.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, with experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Excel, and other relevant tools.
