Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Analyst to join our team at Dartmouth Health. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will be responsible for coordinating the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of our Information Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement system solutions to operational issues and meet customer needs.
  • Manage medium to large scope projects that impact large segments of the organization at the campus or enterprise-wide level or that have a significant impact to the financial health of the organization.
  • Manage workflow within the team and communicate with other IS teams and user population.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of both the organization and the healthcare industry.
  • Empower individuals, encourage employees toward responsibility and decision making. Promote continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct team meetings.
  • Recommend hardware and software solutions for user needs.
  • Plan, develop, direct, schedule, and/or assist in the deployment and/or enhancement of DH's information systems. Consult with users to diagnose and resolve complex problems.
  • Supervise team members and perform administrative duties. Complete performance appraisals for team members and recommend hiring, compensation, advancement, and dismissal.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and some project work requiring off hours, weekend, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in information services or Master's degree with 4 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate ability with applicable hardware and software applications.
  • Must be self-directed, flexible, and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Excellent coaching, feedback, and listening skills required.
  • Must have an analytical approach to problem solving and needs definition.
  • Demonstrate ability to refine work management processes and methodologies. Train others in work management skills.
  • Project management and application testing skills are desired.
