About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team at NorthWestern Energy. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for designing, estimating, and managing projects for new gas and electric residential and commercial utility installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and estimate projects for new gas and electric utility installations
  • Manage project implementation, including working with customers, coordinating with other utility providers, and supervising crews and contractors
  • Perform capital forecasting for estimating allocation of man-power hours
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and regulators
  • Locate underground facilities and obtain permits as needed
  • Design underground electric and/or gas services and other work as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Business, technical degrees, or extensive construction background or field experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Strong computer skills
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of safety policies/procedures
