About the Role:

The Event Sales Coordinator is a key member of the Haywire Restaurants team, responsible for supporting the Events Sales Manager in planning and executing private dining and large party events. This role involves managing initial sales leads, organizing booking documents, and closing event sales. The Event Sales Coordinator will also develop and maintain business relationships with clients and partners, participating in offsite events and sponsorships when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close event financials from the previous day/weekend
  • Ensure the accuracy of all booking documents and place them in the events binder
  • Send follow-up emails to guests to gather feedback and promote future bookings
  • Triple Seat events in OpenTable to ensure continuity
  • Send follow-up emails and calls to guests who have not finalized bookings or are missing essential booking documents and details
  • Gather BEO and menus for weekly operations team meetings for bookings of all parties under 20 in the main dining room
  • Responsible for the initial response to all leads that come through on TS
  • Assist in site tours when the Sales Manager is not available
  • Assist in event bookings of larger parties when the Event Sales Manager is not available

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in the hospitality or customer service industry
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills in a high-volume environment
  • The ability to anticipate problems and make contingency plans
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
