Key Responsibilities- Preoperative Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients prior to surgical interventions to ascertain their health requirements and formulate appropriate care strategies.
- Operating Room Preparation: Ensure the operating room is properly equipped and maintained, adhering to sterile protocols and managing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Intraoperative Care: Deliver direct patient care during surgical procedures, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing any urgent situations that may occur.
- Postoperative Management: Provide attentive care to patients following surgery, including monitoring recovery, managing pain levels, and identifying potential complications.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all patient care activities diligently.
