Healthcare Support Specialist

At Wilkes-Barre Hospital Company, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in our team by providing delegated patient care services in accordance with your skills and training. You will work under the clinical direction of a registered nurse and be responsible for delivering patient-centered care in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of delegated patient care services, including vital sign checks and medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of start date
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing Program (Preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech (Preferred)
