Job Title: Service Alarm Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Service Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our electronic security systems, ensuring that they are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to trouble tickets and ensure application uptime and system performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
  • Configure and troubleshoot low voltage electronics, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
  • Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of all upgrades and major modifications.
  • Install software upgrades and major modifications on-site.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of IP addressing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus.
