Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join our team at Amazon Stores, supporting the Operations Maintenance team in Bristol, IN.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

This role involves repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, and mentoring junior technicians. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of automated systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
  • Track and store department inventory
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
