At Tower Industries, we are seeking a skilled Fabricator I to join our Solid Surface Fabrication team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating cast polymer saws and routers to perform standard cast polymer fabrication work.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate cast polymer saws and routers to produce high-quality cast polymer trim parts.
- Inspect fabricated pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform daily operator maintenance on assigned equipment and maintain records of that maintenance.
- Measure and inspect parts during processing and finishing to ensure they meet Order Specification within accepted tolerances.
- Prepare fabricated parts for shipment and/or installation, including final inspection and proper labeling.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions and customer order sheets.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with assistance.
