Job Summary

Tower Industries is seeking a skilled Fabricator I Machine Operator to join our team in the Solid Surface Fabrication department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating cast polymer saws and routers to perform standard cast polymer fabrication work, producing high-quality trim parts, and ensuring that all fabricated pieces meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cast polymer saws and routers to perform fabrication work
  • Perform daily operator maintenance on assigned equipment and maintain records of that maintenance
  • Measure and inspect parts during processing and finishing to ensure they meet order specifications within accepted tolerances
  • Perform standard fabrication work, including finished part assembly, trim preparation and assembly, edge preparation, mounting of sink bowls, location of cutouts, and shower base assembly
  • Prepare fabricated parts for shipment and/or installation, including final inspection and proper labeling
  • Train, certify, and operate forklift/tow motor with onsite trainer
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions and customer order sheets
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 150 pounds with assistance
Work Environment

The work environment is a 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.
