About the Role
ManTech is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to play a crucial role in the certification processes for the New Glenn launch vehicle system.
Location: Kent, WA
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and coordinating audits related to rocket certification.
- Conducting thorough audits to ensure adherence to military and industry manufacturing standards.
- Collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Providing regular status updates to management.
- Participating in Engineering Review Boards.
- Evaluating manufacturing processes and documentation to ensure quality control.
- Reviewing modifications in processes and assessing manufacturing capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in launch vehicle engineering.
- Experience in the fabrication of space-qualified components.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and process qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Occasional movement within an office setting.
- Frequent operation of computers and office machinery.
- Effective communication with colleagues and clients.
