Role Summary
The leasing team at DTN serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and the surrounding community. As an Apartment Locator Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the DTN brand across all properties. Your responsibilities will include converting inquiries into leases and fostering a positive reputation through professional interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming inquiries, assess individual needs, and direct them to suitable properties.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with colleagues, prospective residents, and the community.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with site teams to meet the needs of potential residents.
- Utilize approved technology and software to manage leads and facilitate lease agreements.
- Oversee the prospect queue to ensure timely and effective communication throughout the leasing process.
- Conduct weekly market analysis for student housing communities.
- Participate in outreach and community events as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on site requirements.
- Support the Marketing Team with general social media management tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to educate and assist prospective residents.
- Positive attitude and collaborative spirit – success is achieved through teamwork.
- Attention to detail – representing the DTN brand through our properties and team members.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proficient in computer usage and various software applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with industry-specific software is preferred.
