Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, articulate, and make informed technical decisions regarding various factors (scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, etc.) that influence your team.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable mentor for junior developers, offering guidance across the team.
  • Participate actively in the recruitment of new team members and developers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical), or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development using major object-oriented programming languages such as C++, C#/.NET, and JavaScript, along with experience in designing and building large-scale connected systems, including devices, servers, and cloud environments (Azure, Google, AWS).
  • Proven track record of ownership and delivery of multiple high-stakes, complex products or services that significantly influence the organization's business and technical trajectory.
  • Prior experience leading medium-scale initiatives with independent follow-through to resolution.
  • Expertise in designing and developing microservices.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $132,000 to $221,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum compensation offered, with final salary determined by factors such as work location, experience, skills, and educational background.
