Moraine Park Technical College is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic Instructor to join our team on the Fond du Lac Campus. This is a full-time, 178-day contract position responsible for delivering instruction and facilitating student learning in the Paramedic program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum to meet workforce needs, ensuring students receive comprehensive training in emergency medical services.
- Provide ongoing development of curriculum, assessment, and learning strategies to meet industry standards.
- Facilitate student learning through multiple modality delivery, including classroom instruction, simulation, and clinical experiences.
- Provide regular student support and contact, or refer to the appropriate department, to meet learner's classroom and career goals.
- Collaborate with K-12, Department of Corrections, community, and industry partners to develop and maintain relationships.
- Actively maintain proficient knowledge and skills in emerging trends and current occupational practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required, or willingness to obtain a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program.
- Two years of paid work experience, within the past five years, related to the program(s) being taught.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Paramedic by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
- Current certification as an Emergency Services Instructor II issued by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services-Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Section.
- Current certification with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians at the Paramedic level.
- Current Basic Life Support Instructor certification with the American Heart Association.
This position requires travel to MPTC campus locations, client/contract work sites, and/or Department of Corrections institutions. Flexible scheduling may be required to include evenings and weekends.
