Job Overview

G2 Secure Staff is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ramp Agent to join our team at the Albuquerque International Sunport. As a Ramp Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground handling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ground support for inbound and outbound aircraft, including baggage handling, mail and freight handling, and aircraft servicing.
  • Drive motorized equipment and clean aircraft interiors.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Handle and care for passenger baggage, U.S. Mail, freight, and express parcels.
  • Push or tow aircraft to and from designated locations in the airport.
  • Provide technical guidance and interpret policies and procedures to front-line employees.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, and management.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.
  • Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.
Language Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.
