Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respiratory Care Services: Provide and direct respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation, in partnership with attending physicians and care teams.
  • Emergency Response: Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow established infection control, isolation policies, HIPAA, and other relevant policies.
  • Professionalism: Work collaboratively and professionally with peers and patients to maintain an optimal work environment.
  • Autonomy & Growth: Embrace opportunities for skill enhancement and professional development.
  • Quality Improvement: Focus on continuous quality improvement in clinical care, identifying and sharing opportunities to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of Texas Medical Board. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
