Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - College Station. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the ICU setting, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and manage respiratory disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Experience working in an ICU setting, preferably with ventilator management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
