Hospice Nursing Specialist

This role involves assuming full nursing responsibility for delivering high-quality care to each hospice patient. You will conduct initial evaluations to determine eligibility for services within 48 hours of referral, identify patient needs, and initiate and coordinate personalized care plans. Collaborating with patients, families, attending physicians, and the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) is essential to providing exceptional patient and family care daily.
Key qualifications include one year of clinical experience, current RN licensure in the state of practice, and one year of clinical experience. A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation or public transportation are also required. Experience working with terminally ill patients is preferred for Virginia-based positions.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience. This comprehensive compensation package includes competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.
