Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team of caring professionals. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents in need.

Job Description

As a Youth Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting children with their individualized plans for daily living
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients
  • Participating in the planning and implementation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our clients
  • Providing transportation to doctor's appointments and other important activities
  • Shopping for necessities such as food, clothing, and household items

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
  • Be bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Have at least 1 year of child welfare experience working with children and/or adolescents
  • Have a valid Texas driver's license
  • Be able to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform Safe and Positive Approaches
  • Be fully immunized/vaccinated (or have a medical/religious exemption) for Varicella, MMR, Tdap, Influenza prior to starting

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
