Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic PICU environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with experience in PICU or NICU settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the PICU, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and airway management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current WA license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • 1 year of experience in PICU or NICU settings.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
