Job Title: Merchandise Associate

At HomeGoods, we're always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team as Merchandise Associates. As a key member of our sales floor team, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the sales floor team in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to operational and merchandise standards.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers, driving sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Participate in store recovery efforts, ensuring the sales floor is always looking its best.
  • Support the sales floor team in maintaining a safe and secure environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting business needs and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail customer experience preferred, but not required.
