Job Overview

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Role Summary:
This role is responsible for delivering specialized transportation and disposal services to our clientele.

Key responsibilities encompass manifesting, packaging, spill response, decontamination tasks, remediation activities, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling materials while complying with state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

The position requires on-call availability and readiness outside standard business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Some overnight travel may be necessary.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Sample waste streams following established policies and procedures.

2. Execute manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up, remedial tasks, utility project work, labeling, loading, unloading, and coordinating transportation.

3. Uphold a professional demeanor when interacting with clients by addressing inquiries and proposing solutions to current or potential issues.

4. Adhere to and enforce all compliance, health, safety, and procedural guidelines in line with VES-TS policies.

5. Gain familiarity with all U.S.

Department of Transportation (DOT)/Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and VES-TS regulations necessary for submitting paperwork to facilitate the disposal of hazardous waste.

6. Operate and maintain all equipment in a professional manner to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
