A robust background in power generation, transmission, and auxiliary machinery systems is essential. Candidates should have proven experience in managing programs related to ship Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) or electronic systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager, your duties will encompass:
- Project Planning and Execution: Spearhead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ship HM&E or electronic system projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize extensive knowledge of power generation and auxiliary machinery systems to provide technical direction and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships essential for project success.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and challenges, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensure favorable outcomes.
- Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenditures to ensure financial integrity.
- Team Leadership: Guide cross-functional project teams, promoting a collaborative environment and providing mentorship to team members.
- Quality Control: Implement and manage quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of superior ship systems.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular updates on project status to senior management, emphasizing key achievements and challenges.

Qualifications- A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience with the U.S. Navy.
- Capability to obtain a DBIDS access credential.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Experience in AIT and industrial execution and planning support.
- Ability to manage and direct program and project initiatives effectively.
- Experience in leading and supervising project teams.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting and transporting equipment.
- Able to work in various environmental conditions, including aboard ships and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to travel as required.
